The Bayshore Race challenges runners and power walkers in timed ½ Marathon, 10k and 5k road races. Races begin and end at the Bayshore Community Centre on the east shore of Owen Sound harbour. With views of Georgian Bay, the course is one of the most scenic in Ontario!
While the road races challenge more serious athletes, our 5k Fun Walk enables almost anyone to participate! The 1k Kids' Run helps make it an unforgettable family event.

The 2011 Bayshore Race is in the books! More than 400 runners and walkers enjoyed perfect weather. $22,500 in sponsorships and pledges was raised in support of new mammography equipment for the hospital.
Thanks to Race Director Greg Nicol, Amy Nicol, all our GREAT volunteers, sponsors and everyone who ran or walked in the race. Special thanks to Jim Cummings and the Knights of Columbus for looking after all the aid stations. We had a great day and we hope you did as well.
